Re: 2012 Dates
Thanks. I guess I should have been more clear with my 2nd question. I can attend the COM test and tune with my COM license and I assume it is COM run. I assume it is open track sessions, perhaps alternating open wheel and fenders? Does anyone know if I can attend NHMS open track days with a COM lice...

Re: Roll bar padding requirements?
Thanks guys. I'm all set, its a standard 4-pt bar behind the seat so the head comes nowhere near it.

Roll bar padding requirements?
I have a DOT legal 1998 M3 with a 4-point Autopower bolt-in roll bar. I am registered in the SPB class. Can anyone confirm that padding IS NOT required? I have fixed back seats and a 6 pt harness.
Many thanks.

COM License requirements
My apologies if I missed the answer in my search; I am wondering how one gets licensed, specifically for the open track sessions at NHMS coming up at the end of the month. This is my first full year but I have karting background (real karts, road racing and sprint) and I've been able to get out a lo...

Re: Car Classification
Gotcha, thanks. And thanks for the thoughts on the car, good to know, although I'm sure I have a long way to go before I can use it to its potential (further mods will be to the driver

Car Classification
Please forgive me as this may be a very basic question to some; Reading the rules, the Street Prepared class strikes me as somewhat of a catch-all category recognizing that it is impossible to classify everyone differently based on infinite mod variables. I have a 1998 M3 that appears to fit in the ...

Re: NHMS May 30-31 Event
Fabulous, thank you. So it seems like there is a potential for more track time at the end of the day, how often does this actually happen? I'm a beginner so very focused on seat time. Also, to confirm, the TT just one session of 3 timed laps?

NHMS May 30-31 Event
My apologies if I missed this on the website; can anyone give me a description of the format? I'm thinking; May 30th, 4 (5?) track sessions of 20 minutes, 30 minutes? Then on the may 31st TT day, I see 3 times for previous events, does this mean you get 3 sessions of maybe 2-3 laps, so very limited ...
