Re: Palmer Motorsports Park

The other Facebook page was removed because it was not authorized by the owner and was presenting false information. Unfortunately, some people believe everything on the internet is truth. So much mis-information was getting posted that it was causing confusion with local neighbors. RPM you should b...

Re: bmw people's input please

If your heart is set on running a BMW, go to bimmerforums.com or bmwclubracing.com. Each site has a classified section for race car sales. There is no better way to get a car than used... The 850 is a poor start for a race car. Heavy and complicated. The V-12 has known issues with it's silicone impr...

Re: Tow vehicle chat time

I always find people's love affair with diesel trucks interesting... Dan's version of real world experience should let the rest of the dreamers in on the truck world. Unless you're an owner/ operator looking for 250,000 mi + in a 5 year period or pulling over the 26K# GCVW limit, diesel doesn't cut ...

Here is the Mylaps link for the event. It was a shame the event had such bad weather. Over 140 racers had signed up to participate in the largest single race event for club racing. Someday COMSCC will have that kind of turnout for an away event. :D http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=362068

I have to jest with the Mustangs guys from SPA every once in a while. It really irritates them when 6 cylinders go faster than 8... Kurt, I see you have been treating "Ole Bessie" well. No need for any painting booth time I hope. What's with the diff breakage? Doing roll back burnouts for ...

E-36 likes the 17". Check out Bimmerforums.com for a large supply of used wheels available. I would recommend a 17x8 minimum. Run a 235 or 245/40/17 tire in whatever compound you like. Corner wieght and alignment will be key. There are also plenty of used diffs on-line. An open diff will need t...

I told Kurt COMSCC would be an excellent place to get his feet wet for a year or two before trying the club racing circuit. For any of those forum lurkers hanging on the fence about getting track time, you can't beat the COM experience. I found it better than any other HDPE venue. Here is a chance t...

I only watched your 2nd video, but a few pointers for the future. #1 The best lesson Chris Tier ever gave me was to watch your consistency. In a large HP car like mine, motor helps make up for small lapses, in a Miata, being on the money makes all the difference. Remeber to really get to your apex p...

You guys will have to be sure to show the new guy the ropes at COMSCC. Easing him into a life long addiction to speed should come naturally to most of you. The new owner seems excited to get out and play. The Glen may be a tough track to get his first experience with the car. We were hoping for the ...

89 db was strictly enforced at the BMWCCA club race in June. I actually had problems with my intake noise on the front straight. They don't care what end it comes from, gotta be quiet.
If that's the case though, how come Raj's spins don't invoke the black flag for sound....

110 will be leaded. No unleaded fuels available with that octane rating. VP109 is the closest and you won't find that in anything other than a 55 ga. drum.
