FYI: Summit Racing has Hoosiers and Nittos in stock
A few bucks cheaper than tire rack and free shipping on the Hoosiers. I figured I would share so if you have a bad dealing with Tirerack (like I did) you don't ever need to buy from them again.

MasterTow Tow Dolly, New Tires and spare
As is, MasterTow Tow Dolly, New Tires, needs lights. Bought new in 2002 to use with Shelby GLHS. Used it all last season, very solid, bearings serviced and good condition, needs lights. The wiring needs work. I never had the time and ended up using auxiliary magnetic LED lights. Best Offer. contact:...

Re: Thinking of Tow Vehicle & Trailer
I just saw this on the forum and ordered one. Probably could save a few bucks with used, but this is a great deal. http://www.factoryfive.com/factory-five-18-car-trailer/ As mentioned, all we have around here are really big hills. No fun with a marginal tow vehicle. The Honda could probably do it. I...

Re: Sharing Bad TireRack Experience
That is a good point. Tirerack had already mounted a tire on the wheel, they just bolted it on. I can blame myself too for not looking at the wheel myself before dropping it off. It never crossed my mind it wouldn't match. FYI: Hoosier 225/45/15 on the Hoosier ecommerce site are the same price as ti...

Re: apps
I'm looking into this app too. It does get pretty advanced. You can add obd2 input, video input, gps input, all wireless through a bluetooth connection. I'm planning to buy the app now, the full blown app $27and use my droid this weekend. Next year I'll add a go pro.and see how the droid gps works. ...

Re: Sharing Bad TireRack Experience
Update: I did send Tirerack a link to this post. They replied that they could up the credit to me from $40 to $68, 50% of the cost of the wheel to keep it. So there it is, not quite matched color on the right side wheels. Since the tires are directional those wheels will always be on the passenger s...

Sharing Bad TireRack Experience
I'm sure I'm like many of you who spend quite a bit of money annually on tires, brakes, shocks, etc. I recently purchased 4 new tires for my wife's Mini Cooper S. Since one of our ASA silver wheels was bent, I figured I'd spring for a new wheel too. I piled the order in the car and dropped it off at...

Re: machine shop recommendations
Thanks for the tips. Yeah, the new garage is cool, I got the lift in a few months ago too. I just did the water pump on my wifes mini cooper s. The lift made it nice as I removed the whole front end off the car....I think I'll post that in the next drift.

machine shop recommendations
I'm looking for a good machine shop to do some basic block work. Anyone have a recommendation? The motor is a 2.2 dodge. I lost an injector at speed at Summit Point years ago. That piston was destroyed. I need the block cleaned and checked, the bores checked, honed or bored as necessary, new pistons...
