There is no reason why this club should not allow open passing for the advanced run group. EDIT: I was wrong, BMWCCA allows for passing anywhere with a point by, nevermind. I am with Alex, it is impossible to point out of a window net and concentrate on driving at the same time. I guess the bigger q...

Joel,

Check on www.sccaforums.com , lots of people still run C5s there with stock calipers. Someone might have some laying around. If not, call my friends at raceshopper.com, they ship fast.

Trailer Stores in MA?

Hi Guys, I think it's about time to upgrade from my open trailer. Carrying 50,000$+ in junk available to whoever wants to rip my stuff off doesn't seem like a good idea, especially since I plan on driving out to the SCCA Runoffs this year. Does anyone have a decent trailer dealer in the MA area? Wou...

Bruce, Have you guys been spreading the word at National SCCA events? What about boards like SCCAForums.com where the Touring crowd hangs out? I hate to profile, but it seems like the guys with lots of money regularly attend those events and read those boards. Maybe I have been too busy sulking on ...

Jeez, Jason, I am really really sorry. Your father was an awesome guy and always very kind to me at the track. Much like Raj said, one of my fondest "racing memories" was seeing your dad tear it up around LRP in the Tacoma. I've told that story to way too many people. My condolences to you...

I don't see why not, My SSU car is faster than a T2 Car  I would certainly hope so, don't you have a Z06? An SCCA T2 car has very little prep. If you aren't out doing much faster laps in a Corvette as compared to your average T2 car, there is something wrong with you. My point exactly, so ...

I still strongly feel the Hoosier A6 is the best tire out there, but if you are like me and not ready to drop 15k on a Penske shock setup so you can conserve your tires, your choices are somewhat limited. As far as a "road racing" compound, the Hankooks can't be beat. Better life than a Ho...

I had an SCCA National race back when rooms around LRP were pushing upwards of 299$ a night. I stayed at a Super 8 in Torrington, CT. Just as far away as Great Barrington, maybe less. Clean rooms, lots of stuff around, Dunkin Donuts on the way back to the track. Think it was about 65$ or 70$ a night...
