I had an SCCA National race back when rooms around LRP were pushing upwards of 299$ a night. I stayed at a Super 8 in Torrington, CT. Just as far away as Great Barrington, maybe less. Clean rooms, lots of stuff around, Dunkin Donuts on the way back to the track. Think it was about 65$ or 70$ a night...
