An old school mate of mine, Bill Richardson, is running for President (of the USA, not COM

). He's from New Mexico, and among his supporters are Indy 500 winners Bobby and Al Unser. The Unsers will be in New Hampshire during the last week in November, and I'm looking at setting up a reception for them on the evening of November 28. It would be somewhere between Manchester and the Milford area. Bobby and Al just want to hang out with some real motorsports enthusiasts, have a few beers, and swap stories - very casual.
In order to make this happen, I need to attract a decent sized group. If you think you'd be interested, either post here or email me directly at
frank.perron@aspect.com. Also, please spread the word to COM members who don't habitually troll this forum.
Thanks

November 28 is the very important COM Board Meeting - the "rules meeting" so as much as I would enjoy attending Frank I will not be able to attend.

I'll see if it's possible to move the date a day forward or back.

The Richardson campaign is still trying to determine if we can swing this given the limited response from the club. Whichever way it goes, I will be posting a listing of events the Unsers will be attending while in NH that week. Stay tuned.
BTW Sam. Congrats on winning ST2 this year in a car that really belongs in SS.

I can't vote here in the USA but I would not mind meeting the Unser (uncle and Senior) as I already met Junior in his Indy re-return days.

The event in southern NH on the 28th is still a good possibility. I've contacted the NHSCC to try to stir up some more interst.

#1 - thank you Frank. I guess we could discuss which class, but, as I told Will at Watkins Glen, the Mazdaspeed air intake is not "as delivered" so off to ST2 we went.
#2 - I think I can drum up a few more bodies with an interest in meeting Bill, I mean the Unsers. Can I bring a bunch more? I think a number of people in our Mazda 3 Forum would like a meet and greet with a couple of the auto racing icons.

Yes, Sam, the more the merrier. I just wish I could give you a definite location right now. I'll try to nail it down in the next few days. I hope the Unsers are on their best bahavior. They're known for wrecking rental cars and ATVs in the parking lot
