Re: MA state inspection for track car
Let us know how you make out. My solution has been to convert mine back to stock - air bags, seats, belts, etc. for the inspection. Would love to be able to avoid that if I could.

Re: club motorsports
Had not heard about this one. The roadcourse renaissance continues... https://www.facebook.com/ClubMotorsports?fref=photo Not sure about the back fill, no pavement on the actual track yet. Looks really nice. Dare I say, are we approaching too many choices? https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=377324...

Re: NA Miata's
I'd recommend a big front sway bar for starters. The hollow Racing Beat seems to be a popular choice. From there I think it's a set of compromise decisions primarily between suspension and tires to stay in T30. Steve Hosker would be a good guy to talk to. My classification #'s, for whatever they may...

Re: NA Miata's
Just thinking that you should check your points and parts combinations on the classification spreadsheet. Hoosiers can bump you to T40 unless it is a really fat Miata like mine. (not that I run Hoosiers mind you) Oh and a shameless plug for 949Racing - worth looking at for wheels and other parts. Go...

Re: cycling ????
what do you ride ? Ridley Orion
MT or road ? Road
miles ? Way too few these days
type of bike ? Carbon Fiber
I've really fallen out of riding regularly. I do the Rhode Island MS 150 ride every year. Riding more would help me fit better in the car - there is my motivation!

Re: Formula Enterprises (FE) race car for sale
Too funny. I was down at Summit last weekend helping my nephew running in GT-L with his mini.
Looks like Mr. Robinson (while not particularly competitive) kept it on the track and finished the race. I'd call it a win for U-Haul racing.

Summit Expansion
I happened to see that they had added quite a bit of new track to the little Jefferson Circuit and thought others would be interested.

Re: New Member Intro
Well, lots of learning was going during my first track experience. I’m still processing much of it. I didn’t quite accomplish my goal of not screwing up. I did run most of the day Monday, even after picking up my little "souvenir" dent. [Note to self: pull ABS fuse] I was starting to get t...

Re: New Member Intro
All set with the roll bar (BossFrog) The brake pads are Hawk DTC-60's - probably a bit overkill for a novice on street tires. Packing will be a challenge - am I the only nut case driving thier Miata to WV? Thanks for the offer Paul, I''ll shoot you a note. In the interest of full disclosure, Summit ...

New Member Intro
Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the club and will be attending my first event at Summit next week. I'm in the middle of sorting out what to bring and how I'm going to pack the car (it's yet another Miata). Should be an interesting trip! I'm a total noob and I've never driven on track at speed b...
