Re: SP Rules.

I hear what you are saying Will regarding Kit cars or Replicars but if what you say holds true then why is there language in the rules regarding Silhouette remaining as delivered. Which if we use your example of the Pontiac. If it had a body kit it is not retaining the silhouette as delivered and sh...

Re: SP Rules.

Item 10 is the same as item 6 now. if you look at the old rule books.

Thanks for the clarification Mark.

My feelings are the same.

let hope that the competitors feel the same way and do the right thing.

SP Rules.

I have a question regarding the rules for SP. As I read them item XI.2 .2 indicates that the stock front and rear window must be used. If this is true wouldn't mean that on a Miata the front window remains stock and the rear window would have to be either glass for a hard top, plastic in a soft top ...

New Jersey Thunder Bolt

FYI The track is very nice. New pavement, easy on tires and brakes. It is also challenging to drive Some fast turns and one great slow turn. (long right hander) Be careful on the first lap the turn gets tighter as you crest the hill. Those who drive it will know what I mean. I'd be willing to bet th...

Re: Great event WGI

fwiw, While there is a lot of camber in the outer loop, a "wide" entry line -- i.e., from the far left at turn in coming out of the busstop -- will require you "drive down" the cambered banking toward the apex. This upsets many cars at wot, including my M3. My car will stick ins...

Re: Tow vehicle chat time

When I bought my new truck I debated for a long time about gas or diesel. Then a good friend of mine that most of you know (Dan Malek) who has traveled with me back and forth to tracks for years now said, that I wouldn't be happy unless I had the torque of the diesel. He has had v10's for the last 9...

Re: Tow vehicle chat time

I'm not going to get into a brand war they all have good and bad points about each one. I just wanted to present my personnel experience and yes I had a dodge and in fact it's still being driven by my brother, who has had to put U joints and ball joints in the front at least three times. But it stil...

Re: Tow vehicle chat time

That F350 that Dan D now drives was a great truck for towing. Until I got the new one it was the best I ever drove. But I have to say the new one is so quite and smooth it's really in another class. I would go with a 7.3L Ford and don't worry to much about mileage my 99 had 209K when I traded it and...

I hope to be able to sweet talk Mike Geldart it to letting me see
how much of a disappointment it might be to drive his black beauty.

Tooting my own horn.

I just wanted to let people know that COMSCC members are the best. Team CRS (All COMSCC members, drivers and crew) won the Longest Day at Nelson Ledges this past weekend. Not just our class but the overall. :D We all met though COMSCC and have been having fun doing these enduro's for the last nine y...
