Tooting my own horn.

Post by ctier240 » Tue Aug 26, 2008 8:20 am

I just wanted to let people know that COMSCC members are the best.
Team CRS (All COMSCC members, drivers and crew) won the Longest Day at Nelson Ledges this past weekend. Not just our class but the overall. :D

We all met though COMSCC and have been having fun doing these enduro's for the last nine years. (1) lime rock enduro (2) Longest Nights 24 hr. (9) 12 hrs at the point's and (2) Longest days at Nelson Ledges 24 hr. races and still counting.
All because a few COMSCC members started talking one night at NHIS about racing.

For those who remember Rob Goldfarb, if it were not for him Team CRS would not exist. I will always remember him and I tribute this win to him for getting us started down this long road.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I will stop tooting my horn now.

Nice Job!
Congrats to Team CRS, that is quite an accomplishment. In a MIATA!
I can say that this team truly has their act together. I've been fortunate enough to crew with them at the past three "12hrs at The Point" events, and there is no room for mistakes. And that event spans only half the time of "The Longest Day"
Winning a 24 hour enduro means being at the top of your game for not only the 24 hours of the event, but for practice, qualifying, and maintenance before the event. And that goes for all the drivers and crew.
Way to go guys, you make COMSCC proud! Now, lets do it at The Point next year!

Congrats Chris and to all the members of team CRS!
That is quite an acomplishment that reflects a LOT of hard work at the race and before with all the prep and logistics. Great job!

Congratulations! That is AWESOME!

Team CRS does have its act together, and knowing these guys, I'm not all that surprised at the result. Well played! Not only do you guys have an excellent set of drivers and crew, you all seem to have so much fun gettin' the job done. :)

I'm sure Rob is smiling down with great pride!!

I said to someone this past weekend: "How did we get so lucky to have a group of people like this and how did I get so lucky to get to be part of it?" The response was "we're all COM members".

You don't get to run in races like this by yourself, nevermind to succeed at it. It is an amazing group and I am honored to be part of it.

Words aren't enough.
