It's my first time to WGI, I would like to hook up if you are interested. Do you follow Route 9 out throught VT and continue to NY?

Mass pike for sure. If you want, I will try to coordinate a time for passing through Nashua. Shawn and I will meet in Merrimack and I hope to have Scott/Mark/Craig cakk me when they pass through the Bedford tolls. I don't have a time, Scott said "early". My cell is 603-498-0007StephanAlfa wrote:I plan to leave very early AM Sunday out of Nashua... will be happy to join the COM-Caravan.

There are a couple of choices (depending if you are driving or hauling) from this end: via Keene-route 9 to 87-81 or Mass Pike to 87-81
For those hauling Mass Pike is easier.

Remember to point the Subaru caravan by. It'll be good practice.
Just kidding. Last time I was coming back from WGI 2 (3?) years ago, I got pulled over while travelling at a horrendous speed. Also got bustamicated on the way to Mosport last year, so I'll be going at BMWCCA speed on the highways.

haha...offcamber09 wrote:My guess-it's a track issue not a club decision. WGI, Summit and Mosport are so in the stix, the only complaints would come from the cows.mhiggins wrote:Thanks Scott. Thinking of running with BMW Sat. Sun.
Do you think they will have a problem with that.

"Moo"... What?
Thanks see you there.

Re: Places to stay near WGI.
I recommend the 'Relax Inn' in Montour Falls - have stayed there when racing at WG since 1995.
Don't know what the current rate is but the place is clean and more than adequate for us racers. Parking for trailers et cet right behind.
Run by an excellent family who have always made me welcome.
It is less than 10 minutes drive to WGI, and the Blue Ribbon Diner is right up the road about 300 yards for breakfast.

You can even use my name when you call, they'll probably remember it - but it may not do you much good.

What is the chance??
Looking at the weather, Watkins Gloen is expecting 8-12 inches of snow today and tomorrow. Sure hope that it doesnt happen, because that would be tough to recover from in a couple of days! Pray for NOT Snow.

I'm sure all the rain will melt the snow. 10 day forecast calls for 60% chance of showers on Monday and Tuesday. Luckily for us, the weather guys are only right 20% of the time, so we should have low 70s and sun! ::crosses fingers::
