2007 NHIS #1 Official Information
2007 NHIS #1 Official Information
I confirmed plans with NHIS today. Here is the pertinent info:
1) Chicane-Chicane config
2) North Garages
3) Classroom is indoors at Timing & Scoring
4) Sunoco is not scheduled to have fuel in the pumps, therefore plan on your own fuel. This may change. if so, I'll update accordingly.
5) The track is CLOSED ON EASTER SUNDAY (4/8). This means there is no early drop-off nor registration Sunday night. Registration and garages will open at 7 AM Monday morning.
Other than that, I'm calling the aliens that control our weather to make sure it's a warm and sunny Spring day.

On the bright side, if it rains, you'll learn all about smoothness and grace at speed on a wet track in a formula car. You'll be surprised how well Hoosier rain tires stick.enjoythemusic wrote: SUN! Have a feeling rain in an open wheel car for my first track event will not be fun.
And how much of that "WHAP" of tire spray in a turn you can ignore after the first dozen times it happens.
