Dan, I think George might have looked into the rules a little bit deeper if he was fitting an aftermarket part, rather than a stock part from another model year C5 Corvette. Dan, the rules are available online, right next to the link to sign up for an event. There is update -- backdate in ST for brakes. I have read the rules everytime I consider a change in my car. I have not done some of these changes because of that but I don't think all drivers do that. They than end up with the ilegal cars.
