Sorry for the repost; I trimmed my video down to my fastest laps - I mean, I didn't even want to watch the whole first video I edited!

Definitely very helpful seeing everyone else's approach to this track - keep 'em coiming!

I'll be back next weekend with the McParland's S2000 for AER (trackside support) and then running the road course with COM again in August, but is it too early to start a petition to get more COM track days on the schedule out on Whiskey Hill for next year? I mean, it's five minutes from my mother-in-laws in Ware, three or four events on the calendar should be enough :) Thanks in advance Fred and Charlie!

Scott seems to have Apex-phobia.

Yup- sloppy as hell. Good to see, though. I'll be better next time.

Finally pulled my camera and AIM out of the car! I think this was my first time trial with three laps that got progressively slower. Not my best showing but I drove hard. Doesn't look like I can catch the 08 without Hoosiers. What a great track!

Not hijack the thread, but I'm in to electronics diy or what ever you call this hobby of soldiering components together in an attempt performs some objective and avoid the blue smoke.

I've been looking into gathering multiple video streams from USB cams and would like some input on the hardware like Linux with pie or audrino?

I finally get my best lap online. This course will take some time before I am at the front.

Pretty aggressive driving Howard. I especially love how you're able to hold 80 mph exactly through most of the back half of the track.

That is SMOKING fast!

^ They now have white painted lines on the edges of the track (added the week after the COM event),and last Tuesday at the NEQ WH event, I was black flagged for being on/over the line when tracking out of one (similar to Hroundys line) Wheels never left the pavement, but was told the line was out of bounds, two wheels off. I believe it was NEQ "officials" that made the "line out of bounds is two wheels off" call (was never told rule till after the fact) but I hope it does not become the norm.
There is a lot of useful pavement on the other side of that white line out of one...

it does not make sense to black flag for 2 over the line (except pit blend line of course). You need to be able to feel the edge of the track (with your butt). possibly NEQ was just using very conservative rules for that particular event.

I wasn't the only one flagged for the white line violation that day..and they did call instructors in for a parlay before lunch.....because that group was the "worst" offending the "line" rule ..which was never discussed beforehand. (well…I don't remember hearing it.. ) There is a good foot of real estate on the outside of that white line coming out of one...
