NHIS 2 results are up. Track records for North Oval configuration have been updated.
Also a message from the powers that be:
Powers that be wrote:A timing error has been discovered in the July NHIS results. Affected parties will be notified shortly. I apologize for the problem. Thank you for your understanding.
If you don't see the updated results / front page, hit the "Reload" (terrorists) or "Refresh" (infidels) button in your browser.

You forgot to add "Oil slicks" to the track conditions note. :-s

Only 13/100 seconds between 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place in STGT!?
That is amazing.

You're too kind to me. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th were separated by .034 (38/100th's) of a second.
I was DFL by over a second
I should add "Oil slicks and fire" to the track conditions.

Disappointing to only beat my 2004 North Oval time by fractions of a second - with more hp & Hoosiers. Guess 'mooching' for a year didn't help my driving skills any.

You should also add gas to the track conditions.
On my second practice of the morning, my trunk filled up with gas and was coming out at a steady stream onto the track. I can't understand why they black flagged me. I wasn't on fire. (just kidding)
My battery and other electronics are in the trunk---if a spark ignited it, it would have been a
BOOM not a fire

BTW, CONGRATULATIONS Dan on your first win! We know you got jipped in April.
Raj I'm with you- DFL- but I did spot my competitiors at least 200hp. It's too bad because the Mustang was hooked up handling-wise better than ever. Cross weighting really does work.

Scott
What happened to your car anyway? I see that you TT's in the Rabbit. By the way, I just trailered my car back to my house. The rebuild is finally complete!!!
It was quite a battle all the way, but seems like it should be pretty good. The alltime low point of the project was when frustration set in when the clutch was not working right after I fired it up for the first time. The car was on the lift, and I ended up putting it too high, and ended up smashing one of the T-Tops on the garage door opener! Oops.
Glad it is all behind me now.

T5 itis...popped out of third gear in the oval at full throttle- scrambled eggs after that.
The hits just keep coming with your car. Maybe time to lose the t-tops and tin over the roof ? That's high weight.

Yeah, I bet I could save about 40 lbs or so by getting rid of them. But it is just more work that I don't have time to do now. I will have to live with them for a little bit more. I got a new one at the junk yard, so it is all good now!

The COM webserver now forces expiry times on all pages. If your browser doesn't honor webserver expiry times, well, get a real web browser. Hint: IE doesn't honor webserver expiry times, just about every other browser does though.
This means that when you request the page, the browser should see the content expired weeks ago and actually get the new content from the webserver.

Scott I found this on my browsing. I know it is big bucks but it looks what you might need.

I am almost ready to fire my new engine, I have too come just about every obstacle I could imagine. It is almost ready to fire now. I am planning open track at NHIS on the 27th, WMC BMW in august. I may try Mosport in Sept, but I definately want to do NHIS3 and LRP with you guys.

Thanks Jonathan, the G force is the route I would go. The internals can be bought for under $2,000 and installed in a good v8 case- my own labor. Eventually that will be the solution. $3k for what he's got is what you would pay brand new from G Force- so no deal there.
Good luck with your motor.
