T50 roll call

Post by jeffw » Sun Mar 24, 2013 5:31 pm

Are you running in T50 this year? I am, and I'd love to know who else is planning on it.

I plan to run in T50 as much as the wife and new baby will permit!

I'm in T50 unless I get rid of my SM6's and go to a lesser tire, then I can sqeak into T40. Doubtful I'll go that route as I have become used to how these tires behave, don't want to start the learning curve over. Beginning to re-assemble the car, rebuilt engine and trans joined together and ready to drop in car, then off to the body shop, hope to have it ready to drive in a few weeks.

After my latest trip to the dyno two weeks ago. :( ....my car fits in low T40 on nittos and mid T40 on Hoosiers. I guess the 20k track miles I put on that engine have taken a toll.

I'm torn. I feel like I want to drive in T50, but based on my power output and the fact that my car is 2466 with driver, I likely won't make much of a dent. Tires and balls doesn't really cut it any more. :)

I will run in T50 class ... :sunny:

Clean and Competitive should be the motto.

Should be interesting with former ST-4 and SSB combo with power vs cornering in mixed tracks configs everything else being held equal. 8)

I am coming in with "power and weight" quite different from my Alfa days where I was light but no power

I'm on the heavy side as well....2470 pounds at 3/4 tank of gas. Also had street tires and wheels on so I"m probably heaver than that with the real tires/wheels on.

I should run once or twice in t50 later this year.

I still need: LSD, shorter gearing, and stickier tires. (at <50 points right now)

Was off a few tenths from ST4 last year, so you guys better step it up :)
