hi,
I am aiming to leave at 6:00 from Lawrence, MA. I plan on taking the suggested route at the route shown in the map at the start of this thread.
My cell phone number is 508-574-2201.
I plan on driving at about 60 MPH. If anyone wants to convoy with me please call me and suggest a meeting place.

I am all loaded up. I unexpectedly had to do a practice trailer tire change (huge screw in a new tire). I got it patched today. Glad I noticed it before I had a problem on the road.

I am glad you made the trip Rebecca. You and the others had lots of track time. Especially important for you since it was your first in the new car! Sorry about the rain on day 2, my sun dance seems to be jinxed lately!

Hey COM members,
Just wanted to say thank you for a great event.
Despite whatever mechanical / technical problems I had doing events with COM is always a great time.

The amount of available track time was awesome (sadly I missed much of it trying to diagnose)...

Thank you to all the guys who offered moral and technical support as I worked through my issues.
Hope to see you guys at the Glen as well (with a fully operational car).
Cheers

Had a blast. Great seeing everyone who came down. For those of you who didn't make it, here's what you missed:

Great videos Bert! Looks like day one then two by the bug count on the w/s.. Is it me,or does your car sound louder? I believe that is the first track I have seen with a dotted line down the center.

Very interesting perspective,Mick. I am amazed at the audio quality. My Gopro seems to pick up everything but engine sound. Did you use a remote mike? (There is no wind noise either...)

No remote mike. I use the closed back on the GoPro enclosure and the camera is mounted directly in front of the intake.

Here's a couple of my video's. Apparently had some issues with telemetry capture, I guess the position I placed AIM Solo didn't have good enough satellite reception or something, although it was displaying and logging lap times.

Here are a few laps, and some data,

Data from both of us on Ra1 tires shows Nick running corners sometimes with a bit slower entry, sometimes faster but always with a later turn in and using more track on exit (except 10 which I was really slow on that lap) ... and being 1.5 seconds a lap faster on the same tires. Nick in green, me in red.

David, thanks for throwing that up - it's awesome to check out the data...
Also, I appreciated you asking me to drive your car - that thing is a blast. I had to bring it in after 5-6 laps so I didn't get addicted...although you gotta do something about the gearing!

I just threw up my video from Monday early afternoon. Most laps are :28's with a couple high :27's in there - you get to hear the awesome sound of those PA 'vettes...
You can also see what happens when you don't properly match up rotors and pads - which is why I'm looking forward to buying Greg's old setup.
