We didn't get much wind, but we did get a hell of a lot of water. Roads are impassable - flooded and/or washed out - in all directions. Lots of bridges down too.

I probably won't make it tomorrow. Hoping for Tuesday.

Here's the road I usually drive to get to work. Also to get to the track. Or pretty much anywhere.

Gee Nate, Can't imagine why you wouldn't want to pull the trailer down that road....

Glad you're OK, good luck getting thru the mess!

nate did i thank you for the offer to stay at your place sunday night ? the road is only washed out to the yellow line so half the road is still there . sam thanks for the info on the track closing on sunday . i went up there and the gate was locked and all the lights were off at the sign in building . so here my story the rain started saturday morning about 9 AM by saturday night it was getting heaver then by 2 AM sunday the hurricane got to us . it was a cat 1 that lasted to about 2 PM . by 4 there was a little sun starting to show but it was still windy . i took off for nhms about 6 pm got there about 9:30 1/4 of 10 . did some laps monday and cooked another chain on the diasio . if i take it ez the chain does not over heat but when i push the chain over heats . i took the temps of the chain and it was 307 F. degrees . when i take it ez and don't push with lap times around 1:21 the chain temp is 240 F. for those people that don't know the diasio uses a motorcycle motor with a chain drive to a winters quick change rear axle . i get one track day out of a chain at 120 dollars per chain . two days at the track 240 dollars for chains . the joy to run with comscc priceless !

David -
Just as well you didn't take my up on the offer, since I missed day 1. Day 2 was fun, though!
That video was early in the proceedings. Later on it washed out the rest of the way. But the back way was opened to 4WD by a neighbor with a dozer, so I sneaked out.

Sorry to hear about the chain problems. I hope you can figure out why it's overheating.
