Judging by the video- the self adjusting ball joints don't seem to be a problem any more!

Great stuff!

The TR had a mechanical...the damned cheap aftermarket Chinese crap key broke off in the ignition lock, locking the steering column, requiring a dashboard teardown to get home from Montreal. Key is still stuck, though I got the ignition apart enough to drive it.

Working on removing the steering column to pull the security lock....PIA!!! Well see you Aug 1.

Jeff, you are amazing.

JVC Everio HDD camcorder. But the HDD doesn't work with high vibration, so I record to a micro SD card.

Nice driving Jeff! I do believe you are getting the hang of the car. Very good video also.

Just in case no one noticed you can see a small red light on the center of the dask which indicates when the brakes are applied. Might be a good reference for others having trouble with braking points.

Another great job by all the volunteers who do all the work to run these events so smoothly. Cngrats to all who set new track records for the new config, we'll see how long they last.

I use a panasonic Lumix LX-3. It's a still camera, but also does video. It shoots widescreen (16x9), but I bumped the switch, so this isn't.

The video quality is great, but it has a 2GB file size limit, which means HD video won't fit, and standard-def tops out at 20 minutes.

QUESTION is: WHERE was everybody? I mean those who we "normally" see attending this event. Many new students, great to see that.
just over 1 1/2 hours of track time at the end... that calls for a well organized event. Kudos for all who helped organized this!!! :) :sunny: :D
Rain? Did it rain? ;)

About 5 minutes in, a little too abrupt steering input in 10 and the help of a small lake, a fine example of "both feet in". Tires were a little high, front sway about one notch too stiff for wet driving...when it got squirrelly out of 3, both myself and the nice guy with the flag decided going in was a good idea.

There are some other videos under user "superblackser" on youtube, including sessions with my instructor, Jeff, who did a great job!

Great event, looking forward to this weekend! Wish I could stay both days but have family in town from Oregon on Sunday, oh well :(
