Rain, Shine, etc. did NOT stop this from being a STUPENDOUS event.
QUESTION is: WHERE was everybody? I mean those who we "normally" see attending this event. Many new students, great to see that.
just over 1 1/2 hours of track time at the end... that calls for a well organized event. Kudos for all who helped organized this!!!

I'm getting ramped up for 8/1-8/2. Finally got the car off the trailer and was working on it tonight. Glad the event went well. How about a more detailed report regarding the changes to the track and infield- Thanks.
I am looking for photos, articles, letters to the editor and advertisements for the Four Wheel Drift internet-published magazine of the event. "Presses" roll Monday. I need content on weekend.

I can't really claim to have figured out the new 1 and 2a configuration yet but somehow I managed to get through there ok on hoosier daddies. The R888s didn't like the same line for some reason. The display on my dash is from the G2X Pro, displaying MPH on the left and laptimes on the right, although the laptimes didn't pick up for some reason. The dancing lights are shift lights, but the rpm signal gets wonky above 4k so I use the shift light on the tach.
I just used my FujiFilm S5700 point and shoot set to video mode; I'm amazed at how well the video came out! The quality off the camera is much higher than what is on Vimeo.
