OK, quick update:
The RX7 and team Call On your Mom (COM) are officially registered for this event, and significant progress on the car has been made in preparation for this outstanding endurance racing event.
We expect to have the car completed prior to the upcoming COM NHMS-2 event, and we intend to perform a little testing and setup while we are there.
As a team representing COM, I'm thinking we should have all the NHMS participants come and sign the car somewhere, and write some words of wisdom, a limerick, or other best-wishes type of comment. I should have a magic marker available, but if you prefer, you can bring your own crayon, or spray can or whatever you feel may be inappropriate. It is a LeMons race, afterall.

We are trying to see you for the NHIS run, but the car suffered a broken ignition key, and the steering column is locked -no British problem, damned after-market Chinese shit key blanks. The locksmith is saying $700....which is NOT in the budget right now

Anyone looking for stupid fun tomorrow should come join Team COM (Call On yo' Mom) at the 24 Hours Of LeMons at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs CT. Race starts at noon and goes until 10, then starts again Sunday ~noon. Anyone who did not get ill consuming "FastFred Burgers" at NHMS-2 can push their luck at Stafford, there will be plenty of semi-cooked meat to keep everyone primed. Team COM has shaken down the Carl "We Blow" Fossum car, connected our radios to the Sandy Clam iPod, filled our drink bottles with Joe "Lu water", installed our kill switch with special Paddy "Crimp That" connectors, and fired up Fred's grill to guarantee a "flush and run" experience! Come support COM and BYOTP!

The "Kielbasa Kids" in a Honda Civic won with a 72-lap margin. Three Alfas came in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
