Sam,did you happen to notice the WW got you this time out? :D For the open track session,I put on a silly-large set of 275/40/17" V710's and was turning some 120.1's,once I got used to not shifting out of third, except for the main straight. :shock: The little Focus that could... :wink: I don't know what holds that car together...

Howdy Sam! If no Miatas beat you, then it's safe to say they didn't beat me either :P

My understanding was:
AC = straight
DC = gay
AC/DC = bi

Now I'm not sure...

I know for sure in an art book I have, there's a painting of a hot chick riding a giant "AC" spark plug, and the caption mentioned that AC was slang for hetero. Also in a book I read years and years ago, when a guy was hit on by another guy he said "No thanks, I'm strictly AC", again referring to himself as hetero.

I dunno now, I guess I should be careful :?

Edison was DC, Tesla was AC.

And I'm probably still a little bi-curious, despite the fact that I've managed to beat the fast Miatas lately.
I mean, don't we all have a little Butters in us?

Steven: Butters! What are you doing?!
Butters: I'm getting a surprise! (He points to his mouth)
Steven: Oh, my God! My, my only son, reduced to this! (He takes the blindfold off of Butters)
Butters: (looks around) Hey. Where'd Eric go?
Steven: (quite concerned, on bended knee) Butters, how long have you been doing stuff like this?
Butters: Like what?
Steven: Don't lie to me, Butters! I know your secret now! No, wait, wait. It's okay. It's okay, Butters. This isn't a serious problem. You're just bi-curious.
Butters: What's...bi-curious?
Steven: You are. Just harmless curiosity, and it doesn't mean anything. We just need to get you some help, Butters.
[Linda, Butters' mom, appears at the doorway]
Linda: What's going on, you two?
Butters: Nothing Mom, I'm just a little bi-curious. (He smiles)

Not so fast Will, how about WGI, Apr 22, 2008? Huh? I admit Gordy snuck in there 11/2/08, though.

Thanks, Will. I *thought* that this last event was the first time I wasn't beaten in the S2000 by a single Miata (oh yeah, except for Watkins Glen '07).

The Datsun is coming back at some point, though, which devours all Miatae with no remorse :twisted:

#1. Can you really conjugate a Japanese word in Latin?...

#2. You have to wait on the 240Z until I really can drive so the TR gets its butt whipped fairly...we know it will, but we at least have to make it look competitive!

#3. TR6, 240Z, Mini, Ahpha, Spider...this is starting to sound like a vintage class to me....we will need a SPECIAL "leak on the track" flag. It's out ALL the time, and comes in only when we're OFF the track.... :wink:

#1. I didn't conjugate, I pluralified :P

#2. I've been driving the Z around on the street for the past couple of days. It has been a while (nearly 3 years!). Kinda gives the sensation of numerous parts bounding down the road, only loosely associated with each other! I think if I wait until it's "ready", it won't see the track again for another 3 years...

#3. Japanese cars don't leak :lol: OK there was that one time I blew a hose at MOsport. And that other time I blew a hose at NHMS. And the year or so I leaked transmission fluid...
