Hehe, but I'm slow, as my sig indicates!

Patrick McParland - 1:59.03

Not bad for a bone stock car on OEM pads and 4 year old tires :D

I actually had to drive the car to work today - seems like the starter is dead on the F250. Been a while since I've bought a starter - $180 for a rebuilt from NAPA. Last starter I bought was probably $60.

Hope that takes care of it. I was out in the garage this morning putting on the 'rain' tires and taking the car off of jack stands so I could drive it in.

And I just bet you had to play with a Civic SI, Huh? They all seem to want to race the Speed 3, but not at the track!

When I had the STI, the Civics would rev at me at a light. I'd rev back at them, then accelerate as I normally would when the light turned green, as they disappeared in front of me in a cloud of tire smoke.

I never had any transmission issues (until after Jihad Alley), and they get to tell war stories about how they beat an STI. Win-win!

Haha - no Civic Si - but there was some kid in an older Altima who fought through three lanes of traffic just to 'pass' me before immediately taking the next exit (again crossing three lanes).

$180 later, the truck is back on the road.
