TTS and TTU are very simple
TTS 8.7/1 weight to HP ratio or more
TTU between 8.7 to 1 & 5.5 to 1 less that 5.5 to one you're in TTR.
Once in TTS,U or R every mod is legal just bring your Dyno sheet & the weight of your car.
It even addresses the tire issue, I'd vote for following the NASA PT/TT rules for classification

SSU, no mods.
Currently, I have a sway bar and a Cold Air intake, but every com event I've run was with no mods, just tires & Brake pads

I would certainly hope so, don't you have a Z06? An SCCA T2 car has very little prep. If you aren't out doing much faster laps in a Corvette as compared to your average T2 car, there is something wrong with you.

C4 Corvette [STGT] with suspension mods = TTC or TTD depending on the tires.

My point exactly, so why would they care if you run ST1?

The Evo isn't in SSU to begin with, you aren't making sense.

Isn't ST1 a higher class than SSU
If not disregard all my comments

The class names in SS and how they upgrade to ST can be a little confusing. Here's how each class upgrades:
Stock --> Street Touring
SSU --> STGT
SSGT --> ST1
SSA --> ST2
SSB --> ST3
SSC --> ST4
