Awesome pics Mick!
Lots has happened since that trip to Summit!
Different cars, different run group numbers, different skills.
Still have the same love for that track though!
Remember your first....
first track car
I was rather upset when my first track car died, though it was after I had retired it from track car duty. Of course, that was because I got T-boned when the stupid woman at the stop sign didn't see me while making a left turn and decided to go AFTER she had stopped, and "never saw me". That was about 1 1/2 months after I had just put the Wilwood brakes on the 91 Probe GT and got it to actually stop.
My second track car (85 Porsche 944) was sold and ended up at a better home. It has since been resurrected as an ITS car, and has been run regularly at SCCA and PCA events for the last 2 years by its new owner.

Wow, that is great news! She gets a 'second life' as it were and is out there slicing and dicing. Sweet!kfoote wrote:My second track car (85 Porsche 944) was sold and ended up at a better home. FYI: My first track car (the 308)... seems the buyer is going to totally castrait the car. Basically, the car is going to be 'killed' per se
