As you know, that figure Skippy spouted is way out of line imo as it costs about $1M a mile at most. Frankly, i think he is just spoting stuff off preparing folks for the closure of the track and using figures like that and the lack of f--ls, er um, <cough>investors</cough> for his 'dream' $110k membership.brucesallen wrote:Yeah, but Lime Rock costs $30M to pave according to skippy.
What i will say is that the track is in horrendous in the current condition and, therefore, am not going to the COMSCC event in November. Can easily see why the ALMS guys said what they did about the track's condirion. The surface might be ok for softly sprung tintops (as compared to Formula cars). If i may, suggest COMSCC'ers really evaluate their suspension settings for LRP.
$30M??? What is talkign about??? Is he repaving the entire facility, enlarging the pit area and paving the parking lot before the main track enterance too?
