I love that main track. It's kinda like LRP, only interesting.

Will COMSCC be hosting a driving event there next year? The paving is certainly good news.

How much would it cost to remove the damn bumps?

I will send a check for my entry and pack the trailer as soon as COM schedules the event.

Seriously I missed the trip this spring. I would like to go back.

Summit main was my first COM event back in 2003. Haven't been there since the extra day after the 1st Shenandoah event - now that was fun! All the track day you can handle!

+1 for a return to Summit main.

Ever since we took the Shenandoah instead of the Main circuit we have not been able to get back on the main track. We are trying again. Stay tuned.

As you know, that figure Skippy spouted is way out of line imo as it costs about $1M a mile at most. Frankly, i think he is just spoting stuff off preparing folks for the closure of the track and using figures like that and the lack of f--ls, er um, <cough>investors</cough> for his 'dream' $110k membership.

What i will say is that the track is in horrendous in the current condition and, therefore, am not going to the COMSCC event in November. Can easily see why the ALMS guys said what they did about the track's condirion. The surface might be ok for softly sprung tintops (as compared to Formula cars). If i may, suggest COMSCC'ers really evaluate their suspension settings for LRP.

$30M??? What is talkign about??? Is he repaving the entire facility, enlarging the pit area and paving the parking lot before the main track enterance too?
Enjoy the Track,

Steven R.
