It drives amazing, the balance is excellent, the power is a blast and the brakes are super confidence inspiring. There's nothing left to do but drive and have fun. All the hard work has been done.

Specs:

99 RS chassis
roughly 65k miles
Sparco suede steering wheel
04 WRX cluster with tach in the middle
STi Interior

Engine/Driveline
04 STi US spec
~15k miles
Full catless 3 inch exhaust
2006 5 spd transmission ~15k miles
3.90 final drive
STi rear differential/axles/brembos
OEM 04 US STi engine/bulkhead/chassis wiring harness - (never worry about shady wiring - we've NEVER had a wiring bug EVER)

Brakes
Stoptech 328x28 Big Brake Kit up front

OEM Brembos rear
Stainless lines
high temp fluid

Suspension & Tire
Tein Flex 8k 10k - 3000 miles on these
Stock sways
Performance alignment
Wheel bearings just serviced by DSG
BBS wheels wrapped Contis

We've poured a lot of time and effort into this car. It's fast and seriously fun. It kills us to sell it but we gotta pay some bills!

Having seen that car and pointed it by numerous times at MT, I can vouch that it definitely hustles...

Good luck with the sale Pete. :)

WOW!!

This is one of my all-time favorite cars. I always liked the '98-00 RS.
Would love to have it as a daily driver and track terror, but my wallet can't swing it right now.

No doubt this car is a screamer and well sorted!

From the "makers" of the "Mazda LS-7"!

Will, buy my CRX so I can buy it!

Your wheels will fit on my car.

This is one of the few cars in the McParland family that has not been on my trailer...... :D

Come on Raj! :P

Jack, I don't think you'd know what to do with all of that power. Then again, who am I to talk?

Stephan, Coca-Cola and baking soda are the secret ingredient to any high-performance clutch.

Pete/Paddy - is the car going to be at NHIS?

I wish I had the funds to afford this. I drove it on street tires at Calabogie and I came away impressed. This thing made my car feel like a total pig.

The Irish bastards are being coy. Pete forgot to mention that it is running stock 04 ECU tune. 30-40 more hp is easily available with a bit of tuning and a bit of boost. Also, those times were on RA1's. With an aftermarket tune and gummier tires, it could be in 1:52's at MT and 1:00's at LRP.

Good luck with the sale.

Raj,

Buy my CRX and save me from having to spend my winter doing the VTEC swap!

More tires come with it than even YOU can cord in a year!

I honestly can't count all the wheels I have for the thing.

Stephan, It will not be at NHIS. We have the clutch issues all sorted out now. No need for more coke or baking soda. ;)

Raj is right too. The car has more potential. We've had minor boost control issues at nearly every event but its all sorted out now. We've only been running 10-13 psi. 14-15 is stock and 16-17psi via a reflash will bring the car up near 300awhp (340-350 at the crank). Unfortunately a 235/40/17 is the largest tire you can fit under the rolled fenders. I can only imagine how fast this car would be with more hp and a stickier set of 275/40/17s.
