solid bushing is not = Delrin or Urethane??

I guess I don't know what a solid bushing is. The rule for ST states:<br> D. Any plastic (Urethane, Delrin etc.) may be used in place of rubber suspension bushings.<br> <br> I thought those suckers are hard as rocks. What kind of bushing is there that isn't rubber (OEM), or one of these? That's all ...

Maybe, but my TT was reasonably competitive right out of the box, before I even got good at driving it. I don't think I could have wrung much more out of that 4kq.

Could be. I just know I couldn't beat MR2s and Miatas, but could beat all the Hondas. And Fred kept getting faster and faster the following year. So my impression at the time was that Miatas were the car to have in that class, with MR2s a close second.

Well, grumble grumble, I don't know about that. But the result speaks for itself. He was 1.4 seconds behind Dan Malek, which is generally pretty competitive. What about regular MR2s?

I believe I've been beaten by one of these SC MR2s in SSA the one time one showed up. And when I was in SSB, the regular NA MR2s were quite competitive. They and the Miatas were regularly the winning cars. So this wouldn't be fair to them.

I don't think it would encourage that many more people to time trial. Anyone who really enjoys this is already thinking about what they can do to improve their car's handling after only a few events. The immediate first answer is "better tires." A set of cheap wheels and competition tires ...
