Re: Camping at Tamworth
Just to add, there are no garages on site. There is a Days Inn and Econo Lodge right down the street. There is also a nice state campground nearby White Lake State Park.

Re: Whiskey Hill clockwise
Given the vertical layout of WH it wouldn't be too far fetched that a loose tire could get launched at a high point on the track over a Jersey barrier and land on top of a car on a lower portion of the track, Now wouldn't that be special.

Re: Whiskey Hill clockwise
Personal safety starts with the operator. It is your responsibility to drive under control and accept whatever happens. That is why you sign a waiver. It's like skiing. They label the trails to help..but in the end, if you ski down the double diamond slope and get hurt..it is your mistake. Is that r...

Re: Whiskey Hill clockwise
Lot's of interesting comments. Anyone who gets into a car on a track as either an instructor or a driver ( I do both ) should be we'll acquainted with the risk associated in doing so and accept the consequences when things good bad. If not then they shouldn't get seek other activities. However by of...

FS: 18' V-Nose All Aluminum Enclosed Trailer - Loaded
As many of you are aware I had a bad crash/roll over at Palmer on Sunday. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support. To repair my car would require a significant amount of work and fund. But other financial priorities (son off to collage next year) prevent me from putting additional money ...

Re: Reminder to everyone: Check your wheels for damage.
Wow glad you were able to catch this before the wheel self destructed at the wrong time. Brake dust can hide cracks and make it more of a project to check wheels for them. It's a bit of a PITA but after every few events I scrub the inside and outside of the wheels I've used to get them really clean ...

Re: Audi Club of North America adopts new passing protocol
To me it seems to be an way to make it he easy for a novice driver to trivialize the significance of being on a track traveling at double digit speeds with other drivers depending on what you're doing. Most cars that make their way to the track have traditionally been standards so taken a hand of th...
