Re: Colbalt Racing Brake Pads
As said they produce a selection of pads for different purposes so even within their offer you might find pads you like and don't like. I ran their GTS (?) pads on the STI which were supposed to be some sort of "all round" pad with a very wide temperature range, high initial bite and high ...

You need a thin wall socket and an extens...

Re: Wheel inspection meeting?
I hope not, I have 16 or 20 wheels to check. The 19th is no good but the 3rd is probably ok for me.Dtangard wrote:Hey Tom,
Is it excessive if I bring 12 wheels over on the 19th?

Re: Super D ?
In order to be fair Chad will be running the Integra in T50 while I'll be running it in Super D (on unrestricted tires and without balast) so everyone gets to share the vtec power :) Of course this assumes the car is running by then, it still needs : engine rebuilt to be fininshed/installed/tuned as...

Not a video but I watched the F1 practice, interesting is all I have to say. What happens when you add two electric motors (one to power the turbo), batteries and a new engine to a car .... not many laps. http://i.eurosport.com/2014/03/14/1200306-25078290-640-360.jpg Gloves to touch the cars so the ...

Re: 2014 dates?
I'm waiting for another event to pop up before the NHMS one, May 31/June 1 seems a bit late for a start to the season. Last year we openned with summit point at the end of april with a test day before that.

Re: NHMS-3 Pictures/Videos
Just curious, why wouldn't installing a brake bias valve not add points? Interesting question, at the moment I don't believe there is any points for a bias valve. We could turn the abs back on to use that to control the rear lockup and that wouldn't cost a point so the bias valve is similar I guess...

Re: NHMS-3 Pictures/Videos
TT video, lost some time braking into 3, not using all the track before turn in on 3+10 and still loosing some time on the shifts as well but getting there. I think there is more in the car with a brake bias valve as we are managing the braking to limit rear lockup, yeah I know it doesn't look like ...

Re: NHMS Extended Day, Schedule
Extended NHMS, I loved it. Sometimes at NHMS events I question the value vs away events since you tend to get less track time but this weekend was great. The extra session on Saturday really helped to make it feel like a good days driving. I appreciated the extended hours at all the events this year...

Re: Season Finale
This is true in T50 for sure. Chad and I have finished within 0.5 seconds of each other at the last four away events. If Chad had bought that car earlier and gotten it sorted out before the season started it would no doubt be neck and neck right now. I agree the time spread for the top 1/2 of the f...
