[SOLD] 1997 BMW M3 (COMSCC T70/80/90/SC)
[SOLD] My dad and I are selling our 1997 BMW M3 2-door race car. Bought the car in 2012 with ~110k on the chassis and since then it has evolved into a fully track-dedicated vehicle, primarily run in time trials with COMSCC. It is a turn-key track car that is very safe, well balanced, and nearly read...

Re: Do 2018 rule changes reset all track records?
I read through the revised rule book this weekend and thought the changes were pretty minor; certainly nothing that would reset all the track records. I actually think most of the classes will be a little bit faster this coming year because the tire points went down for most people, so they'll be a...

Re: Rules pages 55-56 TIRES
If we reduce tire points for street tires/entry DOT-R's instead of increasing the top DOT-R's, no one needs to get booted out of their class. But even still, if I had another couple points added to my classing, I would be run the SM7 instead of the A7. Or I'd add weight. Or I'd remove the CAI and ca...

Re: Rules pages 55-56 TIRES
Bob C - I think that's a good idea. As long as the gap between a street tire, NT01, and Hoosier are appropriate I don't think it matters too much whether you go up on the fast tires or lower on the slow tires. I could see a case for making the NT01 the 0 point tire (it's now 2 points) and adjusting ...

Re: Rules pages 55-56 TIRES
The goal was always to have a flat playing field for tires, and I fully support moving tire points towards this goal, even if it means putting tires like the A7 at something like 12-15 points. This is a big complaint that I've heard since the beginning, and while we've gotten closer, we're not quite...

Group House Rental for Thompson
Hey everyone, I got another house for the upcoming Thompson event - Thursday (7/20) and Friday (7/21) nights, checking out Saturday (7/22). The cost is $175 for both nights. Last time at Palmer was a lot of fun. No goats this time...but it is a farm with chickens and horses and such. 15 minutes to t...

Re: Palmer 1: June 3-4, 2017 Event Info
I rented a house nearby the track and have a couple spots open.
I've got 3 spots @ $100 for a bed for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) and 1 spot @ $50 for a spot on the floor for both nights. Email me at nicholas.fontana@gmail.com if you're interested.

Re: Weekly COMSCC iRacing hosted league
Hey everyone - we had a great 6-week mini-season around the holidays/new years, and we're going to start another 12-week season next week. The new season will span from 2/9 to 4/27 and will be hosted weekly on Thursday nights. We're testing out a few cars (FIA GT3, 911 cup, Audi 90) that we might ru...

Weekly COMSCC iRacing hosted league
I started hosting a weekly sim racing night with some COMSCC guys and a couple others. We're doing a brief iRacing series with the MX-5 cup at some free tracks along with Mosport, the Glen, and NHMS. If all goes well, we might start a more robust series after the banquet. On Wednesdays at 7pm (pract...
