Re: WTB 15x7 wheels

If you're still looking, I have a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 2 wheels. Has a set of shaved RA1s that are likely too old to be of use. $300. I have an old thread from August with more details.

If they're doing all four, it seems like a reasonable rate. I think the pads and rotors themselves will cost around 300-350 for all four. Raj Not at a dealership. Its probably about $100-130 per rotor and another $80 or so for pads. So ~$300 for parts and 1.5-2.0 hours of labor @ ~$100/hr puts you ...

Local mechanic to central MA

My mother is looking for a local mechanic to do brake work on her Lexus RX300. The dealership quoted her ~$500 which seems like a lot to do pads and rotors, though I haven't done any research to back this up.

She's located in Upton, so anything in central mass would be good.

I was introduced to COM by Will Martins, Gordon Andrade, Lester Seal and Lee Walsh. I can reacall one Renegade Miata Club meeting when I was talking about how much fun I had autocrossing and Lester, I think, said if you like that, you will love the track.

I'm going to assume you're talking abut the Azenis Sports. Are you using up an old set of 215's or the newer 216's? From my experience, the 215's got pretty noisy after about 8k miles and I ditched them after 12k miles. By then all the grip was basically gone and they were way too loud for my tastes...

Re: Watkins Glen is ON!!!

Watkins Glen is a GO!!! The track confirms that we'll be all set for Monday. The off-track areas will be muddy. If you go off track, prepare for mud, mud, and some more mud. Also prepare to sit and wait for the wrecker to pull you out. Sounds like Shenandoah circa April '05. http://www.comscc.com/g...

According to Forecastfox (a Firefox weather extension) the weather for WGI for the next few days is Fri 70, Sat 68, Sun 76, Mon 75, Tue 63. Monday does indicate an afternoon shower.

I think we're on!
