Anyone know if there are noise restrictions at Mt. Tremblant, and if so, what the target db level is?
Re: Mt. Tremblant - Noise Restrictions?
Jeff, I've been warned at the last couple of events that I'm way over the acceptable limit for Tremblant with my unmuffled Mustang. Don Pierce, among others have said the track is tough on sound. I don't know the exact Db limit.
Re: Mt. Tremblant - Noise Restrictions?
Bill Fitzmaurice just got back from Mt. T. and he wasn't aware of any issues with the cars he was running with.

He said he didn't know of any warnings being given.

I wonder if any limits are specified in our contract.

The limit is 92 dB according to the BMW club racing site. About what a Spec Miata emits w/ the spec muffler.

noise
There were a couple loud Porsches there last thursday/friday; not sure if any were as loud as Scott's Mustang, but one or two were close. I didn't see anyone get flagged for noise, and I was there most of both days.

Re: noise
There are no limits in the contract for the track, which
in many ways is worse, because they will simply point
at a car, say that it's too loud, and then that person is
done unless they can make changes.

If anyone else thinks your car is loud, it's probably
too loud.
