Very smooth. It as a great decision to come in the back way to shorten the time trial to avoid the rain but I hope we never do that again. Several people shortened their time trial to two laps so they would not go through the rubble on the way back to the pits. I am still picking rocks out my tires.

Hi Mark
They had us come in thru the emergency entrance between 1 and 2... It worked for cutting the time trial down and almost every one got a dry run.
With fresh hot A7's, Laura and I pitted on lap 3 making the run time shorter and keeping the hot tires mostly rock free, the cars were falling off by then anyway.

Great time Bob..... There is " nothing sandbagging " about you!! Awesome run.

and Laura did a super run herself. You guys are the best.

I did the 3 laps, came in through the rocks ( i thought it was somewhat paved ) and put my tires in the hot sun the other day and brushed off what I could with some thick leather gloves. Still a lot of stones. Your pitting early was smart. It was good to hear that everybody finished on the dry track.

What might be a suggestion on future events if there is an anticipation of extremely bad/rainy weather and we have a short window is to cut the TT run laps from 3 to 2. Just some food for thought.
