Just checked this out, works great. DId a couple of cars and gave me everything those 'pay for' services do - not sure how this site can do it for free.

I used it to run a VIN on a 2013 Escape and it came up clean. However, a friend who works at Imperial Ford ran the VIN through the Ford system and told me it comes up as a Jamacian rental unit that had an engine replacement at 33k miles..so beware that these data bases aren't 100% accurate.

Good thinking to try it with a known dirty car. It would be interesting to see what Carfax says about the same vehicle.
