Mentor assignment

Post by gcranston » Wed Apr 27, 2016 9:06 am

Apologies if this isn't the right place, but I was wondering if the mentor program is still running. I tried to sign up a couple of months ago and haven't heard anything. The weather keeps threatening to improve and I'm eyeing the May and June events at NHMS and Palmer.

Can anyone help me out?

Hello and Welcome

My understanding is that the mentoring program is still active. Make sure you go on the website under getting started, look for the link to the mentoring program. Fill out the information and somebody will contact you

See you at the track!

The Mentor program including my list of mentors is still active although I have had very few inquiries this year. I did not get your request. Requests are automatically forwarded to my email and I respond or assign a mentor with a day or two. Please send another one.

There have been email issues over the past several weeks. So it’s possible that the request was lost during an outage.

For COM members who want to get involved, this is how to become a mentor:

Hope its ok to bump this thread instead of starting a new one with the same topic.

I am also trying to get set up in the mentoring program. After reading this tread I saw that it might be an email issue so I tried to submit my request a few different times on different days. But it looks like it hasn't gone through. Is there and email I can directly send my request to?

click on the Ask for a Mentor link. It is working. There have been several mentees in the last month.
