2016 COMSCC Announcement - UPDATED

Hello COMSCC Membership. The BOD wanted to send everyone a note wishing them a Happy & Safe start to 2016. Hopefully you are installing some go fast bits recently received!! We also have a couple of updates for you.

1. The BOD is still wrapping up the 2016 rules updates. Our goal is to have this complete by the end of January 2016.

2. What you all have been waiting for, our 2016 schedule. This schedule is still PRELIMINARY. We are just waiting for contracts from 3 tracks; the dates are confirmed. We are anticipating the contract process to be complete by the end of 2015. The only changes were to Palmer-2 & NHMS-2 dates previously shared.
We will finish the season at Palmer this year!

• COMSCC 2015 Awards Banquet & Meeting: January 23, 2015. (more on this below).
• NHMS-1: May 7-8 (Sat-Sun)
• Palmer-1: June 4-5 (Sat-Sun)
• Canaan: June 25-26 (Sat-Sun)
• Thompson: July 15-16 (Fri-Sat)
• Mosport: August 29-30 (Mon-Tues)
• Wakins GIen: September 12-13 (Mon-Tues)
• NHMS-2: October 8-9 (Sat-Sun)
• Palmer-2: October 29-30 (Sat-Sun)

We are also considering a test day on April 23rd or April 30th; location still TBD (Canaan or NHMS most likely).

2015 Awards Banquet and January BOD Meeting:
The Year End Awards Banquet and Meeting will be held on January 23, 2016 at the Courtyard by Marriott Billerica. This is just off of Rt. 3 and just South of Rt. 495. The Banquet room opens at 6:00 pm. The fee includes reception, dinner buffet, coffee, dessert, and gratuity. It’s a really fun evening. All members are welcome. Registration is also open on MSR:

2016 Annual Membership:
2016 Annual Membership is available for sign up on MSR. We are hoping many of you will sign up for the 2016 Annual Membership early so you can receive a free early membership package which includes club marketing items, stickers, and a long sleeve T-shirt at no additional charge. To be eligible for an early membership package you must complete your Annual Membership by March 31th, 2016.

2016 Board of Director Elections:
The 2016 Season BOD elections / membership voting will be sent soon. Please be on the lookout for an email from our club Secretary on this. The member voting results will go to Jeff Wasilko and the election results will be announced at the Annual Banquet / Meeting in January.
