Hi guys,
I'm a new member and will be attending my first COMSCC event with you all at Palmer in a few weeks. I'm in a T70 E36 M3. I've been doing this for about ten years, but mostly with BMWCCA and other clubs. I searched the website, but still have a few questions. I would email, but I figured they might help someone else out later on here.
1. Is a pre-event tech inspection and/or tech inspection form required?
2. Do you need a medical info form?
3. What are clothing requirements on track? (long sleeve, no synths, type stuff)
4. Should I provide my own class and numbers for the car? Is blue tape ok?
5. Are scales available at the track?
6. I'm unsure of my car's weight, can I change my class if necessary day-of?
7. You're supposed to print out your classing worksheet and bring it with you, right?
8. I learned from my other thread that you guys use RFID stickers so no transponders required. Awesome!
Thanks a lot!

Re: Noob questions
All good questions. I did my best to answer. I'm not totally sure about #5 & 6 though.
1. Is a pre-event tech inspection and/or tech inspection form required? - No, we do tech at the event
2. Do you need a medical info form? - No, just make sure you have emergency contact info on file with your MSR account
3. What are clothing requirements on track? (long sleeve, no synths, type stuff) - Yes, similar to other clubs (long sleeve, no synths). We do require fire suits for highly prepped cars, but it sounds like you don't need to worry about that if your E36 is in T70.
4. Should I provide my own class and numbers for the car? Is blue tape ok? - Yes. Blue tape is fine. (Unless your car is blue )
5. Are scales available at the track? - Not that I know of.
6. I'm unsure of my car's weight, can I change my class if necessary day-of? - I can't answer this (@Nick ?)
7. You're supposed to print out your classing worksheet and bring it with you, right? - Yes.
8. I learned from my other thread that you guys use RFID stickers so no transponders required. Awesome! - Yes, they're great.
Welcome to the club.
See you at Palmer!

Re: Noob questions
Hi Dan
Mick did a fine job.
There is no scale at Palmer, so no weights there. NHMS has a scale we can use when we have events there.
If your car is basically stock, the weight in the spreadsheet plus fluids ( gas is 6 lbs a gallon) your weight should get you close. If you do get to a scale be fore the event, just submit a revised sheet or bring it with you to the track.
