Watkins Glen winery tour

Post by offcamber09 » Sat Aug 30, 2014 9:48 am

My wife, Coleen, and Deb Cannon are going to rent a car/van, with a driver, on Monday to do some wine tasting. If anyone wants to join them- they have some flexibility on how many can fit. This is for day 1 of the COM event. Let me know.

We've booked a 6 hour tour, starts with p-u at the track 11 AM Monday, participants will be poured back out at the main gate around 5PM, so they can be back in plenty of time for the Bob-b-que.

Have 3 in right now, anyone else wants in PM Scott or me ASAP so we can make sure we get a larger vehicle if needed. The tour is run by experienced operator- if you know where you want to go they'll take you, if you just know what kind of wine you like they know where to go for that. Sounds like a fun way to spend an afternoon if you're not driving the track...

Any room left? Just saw this today and my wife's rather interested.

One spot left. Somebody take this so our wives don't feel like they have to fill that seat with cases of wine

Shit, I didn't think of that. For Sam, a day on track vs. a day drinking with pretty women is quite a conundrum...
