Event Description:
This event is intended to be a 101 tech session to introduce attendees to the fundamentals and best practices involved in automotive wiring.
Automotive wiring is sometimes viewed as a black art by the uninitiated. I don’t know about you, but as a mechanically minded person I sometimes find wiring intimidating, after all there are no moving parts….how does all this magic stuff happen?
We will show you the fundamentals of several key aspects of automotive wiring, as well as giving you hands on experience of how to do the most common tasks in the best way possible. The intention of the tech session is to give you the knowledge to perform your own wiring diagnostics, repairs and modification with confidence and safety. We will introduce you to the techniques, tools, supplies and vendors that will make your projects a success.
The tech sessions will be a mix of presentation, demonstration and hands on practice. A handout will be provided with a summary of the event and a list of the supplies and suppliers used for future reference.
