2011 Camaro SS, Automatic Transmision, Car Clasification?

Post by Rae » Mon Jul 29, 2013 1:53 pm

Hi - quick question for classification around the 2010 and newer SS Camaros that have automatic transmissions
The automatic transmission version of the SS Camaros have a different engine (Horsepower/Torque) mated to the transmission over the manual version in the V8's.
I didnt notice in the forum or in the classification sheet if there was any mention of adjusting the classification points for these particuliar vehicles.
The L99 puts out about 375 plus or minus horsepower - quite a few less horses than in the sheet which is based on the LS3 numbers.
Please let me know.
Thanks

It's a different engine code so we can create a new entry for the auto.

For the current trim models 2010+ I see the L99 listed as 400hp, 410 lb/ft, curb weight is a little higher at 3913. That gives you a starting number of 74.4.
