NHMS # 1 db level ?

Post by McMahonRacing » Tue Jun 04, 2013 9:15 am

Dad was asking where he might be able to find the db level for his car ( # 11 Yellow/Gray Austin Healy ) as he has been pondering Tremblant, didn't have an issue the last time he went but the exhaust has changed since.
Thanks
Pat

Peter Perrault was taking the readings during the TT. You can reach him at miatapeter at aol.com

It's one of those new predictive sound meters.

Dang, 90/91/92 dB, RX-7 must be louder on the outside...
The Flatout Miata rental put out an impressive 95 dB. How much power is it losing to acoustic energy?!
What was car 322 (not shown in results)? 69 dB?! I need to borrow his muffler...

What COM tracks are picky about this?

Tremblant and Calabogie. Looks like muffler sales are going to skyrocket!
On that note, the 200sx is set up for a trap, anyone have a spare?
