Hi COM,
The Subaru club's having a Wicked Big Meet at Nashoba Valley on Saturday, May 20. Here's the post that contains the details:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=923047
The general WBM site is at
http://www.wickedbigmeet.com - you might want to pre-register.
In addition to the usual assortment of riced out Subarus and all the random things that happen at such gatherings, there will be a booth for COM that you'll find some of "those Subaru guys" at
Hope to catch some of you guys there.

I'll be there for the 3rd straight time.
1st year in May it snowed
last year it was a gazillion degrees hot.
No rain and I'll be up with the Cobra again.

I have a friend that attended the big meet and he said COM gave away free track days for new members! Is this true?

Yeah right. If that had happened, I'd have cancelled my membership and signed up again

What COM did give away was four track days as part of the humongous raffle at the end.
We'll have some new track addicts soon. I'll post up pics of our booth later.

I stopped by for an hour, got a chance to see the the front ends of a few STI's - I'm unfortunately well aquainted with the ass end view....
Looked very well organized and attended, I'm sure we'll being converting some racer-wannabes into upstanding members of society ... well, OK, track addicts like the rest of us....

Ok, some pictures are posted:

I know which section you horndogs will check out first.
There were others in the camera that for whatever reason were not posted by the owner of the camera, who shall remain unmentioned. We did sign up a few new members and talked to a lot of people, and were the only club representing track days. I think over 1000 people showed up at the meet.

Geez Raj, is the short one taller than you too? And is it the racers get all the chicks, or the ricers get all the chicks? As for the last picture, I dunno. Starts with a G, ends with a Y, one of the first letters of the alphabet in the middle
