COM member survey

A survey has been launched and an email sent to all current (active) COM club members. This survey may look familiar, it is the same one issued in Feb 2010. The survey has ~ 10 questions but the main issue is how COMSCC Time Trial championships are decided.

As a result of the 2010 survey results, the BoD decided to allow Time Trial competitors to drop one "finishing position result" from the year-end points total to determine class and overall drivers championships. This was seen as more inclusive to those who cannot attended every event, at the expense of those who can. There was some confusion whether attendance points counted for a "dropped event" (in my view they DO count - you always get attendance points for attending and competing at every event). In any case, please take a moment to share your $.02 with your Board.
