Damn. Anyone able to identify the wheel manufacturer in the video from the remnants? Is it another 949 6UL?

It has the right amount of spokes (12). Any wheel can completely fail if stressed long enough and ignored...proper maintenance before every event is the best defense against surprises out on track...

It doesn't look like a 6UL to me......it looks more like a Team Dynamics wheel. Yay.....I have a set of those as well. :)

Yea,it does look like a TD wheel. Careful inspection of ones wheels is about all you can do to hopefully prevent a complete failure...

At least he didn't end up-side-down.
