It is awesome to have so many....what is it.....almost 20% of the participants?
It'll be good to see you out there Paul....finally get some recorded laps on the car with all the fresh suspension bits and tires..

I'm fine with flipping you the keys for the TT! Is hiring drivers against the class rules?WillM wrote:I will do my best to put my ST4 student on the podium!

Sorry you will miss the TT Rob.
All those ST4 cars should make for fun practice sessions! It wasn't so long ago that ST4 was basically Will, Lee Walsh, Jason, Mike Carr, and myself.

It kind of got me wondering if the gas crunch has anything to do with this.
For me, I know I 'm so hooked on doing this that I can't stop. The only possible way for me to continue and do more was buying a car like this in this class. There is no way I could afford to do it otherwise. Maybe the class is popular because it is somewhat more economically sensible.
Whatever it is, the step up in participation only makes this whole process more fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Maybe. SPA participation is half of what it was last year.TroyV wrote:It kind of got me wondering if the gas crunch has anything to do with this.

Over the years, there seems to be a random walk of class sizes going up and down.
Theoretically, the "lower" classes should be less expensive. But it wouldn't be hard to find a lot of exceptions!
Anyone up for a statistical analysis?

Maybe we can make one real big run group for the Time Trial - put them all out there together - the surviving car wins.
