WTB: "Nice" Miata

Post by WillM » Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:58 pm

A family member is looking for a 1994-2005 Miata. Must be 5-speed. Looking for a nice sample in the 4,000-7,500 range. Prefers black, silver, or red, but open to other options. He doesn't know much about Miatas, but I do. Looking for something he can cart around in on nice days, and sneak in a track event once or twice a year.

Got any leads? Send me a PM or post here!

Thanks,

Will

This is a mom and pop joint in Wayland that has funky cars out side. One is an older 5 series, and they have a Testasrossa...wierd.

They also have an early NB Miata, silver with a tan roof. I drive past it every morning. It definitely looks like it has been used, but could be a nice find if the price is right.

Will, this isn't local, but he is on Miata.net (TEXAS) and his cars are always nice, rust free, and the prices are typically very good when you consider the craziness folks ask for around here. If I ever have to buy another and don't want to spend alot of time looking, this is where I'd be going. He just sold a really nice 2002 with 40K miles, it was advertised at $7600, and 60K service was completed (check out the previous sales). I think he'll look for something specific if you want him too as well.

His website is: http://www.funcarsforsale.com

I think it is worth the plane ticket to be honest. I'll keep my eyes open though. - Paul G.

PS: this is a great site to search craigslist, ebay, etc. all at once: http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/mash.cgi?cat=cp
