Re: Test & Tune Day at NHMS
Is there a limit for cars on track? What's the registration max for the event? Will there be a full flagging crew or just a few stations?

Will there officially be hot lap ride alongs at this event? I have someone that may be interested in riding with a few different instructors.

Re: Test & Tune Day at NHMS
Limit of cars on track at anytime? Yes, per NHMS rules.
Limited registration / driver count? Yes. The intent is to give our licensed members plenty of track time - more than they'd get at a normal day's event. Bottom line...register soon!
Flaggers - fully staffed.
Ride-Alongs. We had not considered it, but we should be able to accommodate a few, especially if we have some instructors volunteer.
Keep the questions coming, and we'll communicate answers as quickly and as efficiently as we can.

Garages will be available, attendees can sign up here: "For Attendees Only - Garage Signup" page. Garage fee will be collected at the track.
Also, the Reg site now uses "nick names" on public lists and rosters, such as the entry list for the Test Day. Members can edit their nick name via their profile, the default is First name Last initial (e.g., Richard M).

Will the snack bar be open for lunch or should we plan on bringing our own food?

Re: Test & Tune Day at NHMS
What's the drill for sharing a car at this event? For the second driver:
1 - Is a full registration fee required?;
2 - Which licenses are recognized?; and,
3 - Do non-COM licenses need to be current? For example, is an expired SCCA World Challenge license acceptable?
The purpose of the questions is that I'd like to bring Kermit Upton with me to play around with car setup.
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Test & Tune Day at NHMS
Yes, all drivers must be current members of COM Sports Car Club (annual membership is only $35 for the entire 2011 season) and the event fee would be $195 each.
"The Test Day is restricted to licensed drivers only. We will accept current COMSCC and SCCA competition licenses.
NOTE to SCCA racers: you will need to create an account on the COM Registration site and then contact the Registrar (comregistrar@comcast.net) so that we can verify your SCCA competition license; you will not be able to register for this event before doing so.
The fee for the Test Day is $195: a great value for a full day of open track at NHMS. Note that you must be a member of COM to drive at this event (per our club insurance policy). All normal registration policies apply."
