Great NHMS 4

Post by escortracer » Mon Oct 11, 2010 10:34 am

I want to thank all of the people who put there time in to make this club a great club. This event was one of the best for me the weather was cool on saturday and sunday was beautiful. I have to thank Tom McPherson and Richard murphy for letting me have the privilege of driving a real race car thank you.

Robert, after your 1:26 in a stock SSC Miata in the time trial and running better times than Tom and Richard in their cars, I think the folks in ST4 will be watching you tail pipe next year when you upgrade your Miata to ST4!
You have certainly been the class of SSC for the past few years and COM appreciates you spirit and competiveness!

I also want to thank the club for putting on a great event yesterday and send a big thanks to Tim and Haydn for helping me get my brakes sorted out before my time trial run. Unfortunately I won't be making the trip to NJ but I can't wait till next season!

Thanks Sam and John. It's taken me 7 years to get the time that low and its because of people like you John who hop in your brothers car and set the bar for me to get it lower. Say hi to your brother for me. 8)

Wow! 1:26! Did you borrow my "turbo expresso kit"??? That's is about 3 secs shy of ST-4 track record ... makes things easier now to "upgrade": a little suspension here, a little intake there, a little exhaust and shaving 3 secs in 12 turns is quite doable...
I am going to ST-4 too! Robert, let's swap tail pipes like the good ol days in SSC  :D
I am sorry I could not be there, still plagued with Fuel Injection Pump issues and taking longer than I thought ... that plus need to water the money tree so I was out on a business trip.
