For what it is worth, the seat was sized to fit me and does in fact fit me. I am 38 inch waist and 220 pounds.

I will bet you a banquet dinner you won't fit comfortably in that seat with your gear on,Jake.
By the way..you missed out on the whoopie pies... (I had about 6.. )

For what it's worth, I think if you press fit yourself into that seat a few times it will bend to match. It's just aluminum...

They aren't that flexible,Marcus, especially when you get down to the base.I squeeze myself into a 17" for my Miata because an 18" will not fit in the car. The best way is to sit in one with your fire suit on. 16" seats aren't usually for larger people. Jake, l'll bet you sit in that 16" seat and you will be wearing it when you get up... It's not just the waist you are trying to jam in there. Those thighs gotta fit, too. Some people just have bigger thighs than others.Big bones, you know...
I'd say you were an 18" seat guy, ( 17" without the whoopie pies.)

Jake ..... FYI that is the exact same seat as in both my cars, fits me good (36/30 jeans) .... have a 17" as a pass seat for the Cobra, it is a bit loose for my liking ...... preffer the tight seat myself ...... Pat
