points question

If I move into a different class for the last TT do I get my finishing postion points and the new class bonus points added to my current overall drivers championship point total?
In other words one of our club drivers ran in 2 different classes this year. He has 37.5 points in one class and 25.83 in the other. So would his ODC point total be 63.33?

I don't believe it works that way. The class you enter is the class the points are valid for.You can run your car in a higher class, like an SPB car in PB, but if you won points in PB,you can't add them to your SPB point total,only toward a PB championship. Same thing with entering a different class with a different car. You will only get points toward that particular class championship. Your friend has an overall points total of 37.5 points toward one class championship and 25.83 in the other class.
